My name is Katrina, but many of my friends call me Trina. I'm 30 years old. I am a mommy of 2 boys. ♥ I am in love with Dane. ♥ I am also the mama to 3 fur-babies. ♥ I have 4 siblings; one brother and three sisters. Only two of them are properly married, but all of them are in relationships. I have 18 nieces & nephews - counting spouses, 12 great-nieces and great-nephews, and lord knows how many animals that we all love on. lol I love being an aunt, but that's about the extent of love towards my family. I am a Christian. I read the Bible, go to church, and enjoy my church music. My walk with God isn't perfect, but I'm still a strong believer. As for other religions, if you don't harp on me for my beliefs, I'm not going to harp on you for yours. :-) I still live in the same boring town I grew up in - Mooresville, Indiana. I'm only 20 minutes from downtown Indianapolis. Close enough to still get to the things we need, but far enough away that I am still surrounded by fields and trees. I am disabled due to my ongoing health problems. (Cancer, Pulmonary Dysfunction, PCOS, Diabetes, Bipolar, ADD, Anxiety, etc.) I have struggled with trying to keep a job and with trying to get a college degree due to these probelms. After many failed attempts, I just wanted to stop struggling. I know I'm a strong person, but sometimes I wish God didn't put so much on my shoulders. I do intend to try to finish my degree in Psychology, but right now I'm concentrating on getting my health back on track. Some of my hobbies include: graphic and web design, drawing, painting, writing, photography, baking, cooking, movies, music, and just spending time with my kids. My family is very important to me and always will be what comes first in my life. ♥ x ♥ x ♥

ABOUT THE BOYS:

My kids are my life and have been since the day I found out I was pregnant with them! Both boys are from a previous marriage & their father doesn't involve himself very much. His loss!! Shawn Thomas is 11 years old. Devon Tyler is 10 years old. Shawn is in the 5th grade and Devon is in the 4th grade. They are both in PEAK - the gifted child program. Both children read 2-3 levels above their peers. They love to read and we spend oodles of time at the library. They both love movies, music, and video games. They both love science, animals, and exploring. They both play sports - basketball & baseball! Shawn is in choir, chess club, and art club. Devon is in Spell Bowl, Reading Club, and Art Club. They are wonderful boys, but sometimes drive me insane when they start putting their heads together! Too smart for their own good! :-) lol

ABOUT THE GUY:

Dane came into my life out of no where December 2010. I was going through the uterine cancer and he totally showed me that not all guys out there are the same. We've had our rough patches, broke up a few times, but somehow we always end up right back to each other. We can't live without each other now that we know what's there. I can honestly say I love him and not question myself. He's my best friend. I feel like I can share pretty much anything with him. We get a bit crazy with our tempers at times, but I honestly have never felt this way about anyone. That's how I know it's real! We have been together a total of 9 months out of the past year and we plan to make it forever. Life can get tough, but we keep showing that we are tougher!! ♥

ABOUT THE FUR BABIES:

We have 3 animals that are spoiled rotten! Jinxie is a male kitty that adopted us back in August 2008. I have no idea how old he is, but I would guess he's around 5 years old. He was about 6 months to a year when we found him and took him in. He pretty much spends his days being lazy in the sun and staring out the window. Daisie is a female Cockapoo (mixed cocker spaniel and poodle) and we adopted her September 2007. She is 5 years old. She's very well behaved and has been since the day we got her. She loves playing with ropes and being the center of attention. Aries is a full blooded beagle that we adopted December 2011. She is still a pup, being only 8 months old. She hasn't been trained and we're working hard with her right now. She is a bit hyper compared to the other two, which often causes the other two to get mad. lol Aries loves to play ball, rope, and chew on anything and everything. :-) Like I said, they are all spoiled rotten in their own ways. We love them to pieces. ♥
